SCHOOL COMMITTEES

The college has various committees and all the senior teachers have been given a vital role to play in the smooth functioning of the college. There are significant committees to look after the areas such as Time table committee, Exam committe, Staff club etc.

Students Advisory Committee

Time Table

Time table committe takes the laborious task of framing the time-table for the academic year. It is done in both ways, class-wise to priovide a class time-table for a week and teacher-wise time table so as to assign duties to the concerned teacher. The committee also has to allocate laboratory periods, library periods and sports period for each class. In the absence of a teacher, the class is looked after by a proxy teacher and the arrangement is also taken care by the committee.

The complete solution for the time table preparation has been done by the computerised method by a software prepared by our teachers.

Examination Committee

Exam committee has the gargantun task of organising and conducting exams scheduled for the year. Right from the announcement of exam dates, preparation of question papers, stock of answer scripts, arrange class rooms for seating plan, prepare teachers duty list and see the smooth functioning of the exams. In a academic year the committee in-charge organizes two class tests, two unit tests, half-yearly and annual exam.

For class XII it also conduct two prelims and practical exams to prepare the pupils for the ensuing board exam.

Secrecy is maintained with regard to the name of the students as the answer. Scripts are coded and evaluated. Decoded answer papers are then handed over to the respective class teachers/subject teachers.

The exam committee works as a team to enable the great task go on with all ease because of the cooperation of all the teachers.

Educational Trips/Visits

Students are exposed to various scientific inventions by taking to the BARC visit every year. Class XI has got the privilege to enter the prestigious BARC campus. In the CC auditorium students see the overall work of BARC and then they go around all the labs and research centres. They see the model of reactors through the areactor area is protected area with special permission. Students also attend seminars and classes conducted by BARC. The computer science students are taken to visit Local Area Network labs, AERB, as they have to make a report on visit to LAN centre. Some of the outside agencies, like Godrej ltd., also conducts seminar on various topics. The members of this committee are given below.

Staff Club

Teachers club inside the college is named as staff club. The head with all the committee members look after the welfare of the teachers. The busy schedule of academic events don't allow to have a regular interaction and hence it is always an opportunity to have some meeting during a farewell of a teacher or super annuation of a staff member are celebration times for the teachers. Death is also a force that units teachers to mourn and condole the near and dear ones of the teachers. Staff club to provide all the requirement of the teachers in the class room and the staff room.
